What You Will Get To Do:

• Analyze, design, develop, test, implement, and maintain software applications supporting business functions or client needs.
• Handle projects ranging from small enhancements to complex development initiatives.
• Work within a diverse technical environment using various methodologies, languages, and tools.
• Evaluate issues and recommend solutions, demonstrating developing functional knowledge.
• Guide less experienced team members and suggest new procedures.

What You Will Bring:

• 5+ years of strong, hands-on coding experience in Microfocus Cobol.
• Recent, verifiable Cobol coding experience is essential.
• Ability to build, maintain, and document code supporting business requirements.
• Experience with Microfocus Animation, Unix, SQL syntax/commands, and understanding of Oracle and MSSQL databases.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
• Problem diagnosis and resolution skills with minimal guidance.
• Ability to meet deadlines and participate in on-call support.
• Optional experience in Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income, Derivatives.
• Willingness to learn new programming languages such as C/Kshell.
