CNC Machine Operator

Location : Batavia, Illinois

Schedule: 6:00am-2:30pm

Pay Rate: $22.00 – $24.00/hour

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes, in a production environment

• Read and interpret complex prints and provide feedback for improvements

• Set up machines, select proper feeds and speeds, and adjust fixtures as needed

• Perform in-process inspections and ensure product quality meets customer standards

• Maintain accurate inventory transactions and complete job documentation

• Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure timely and accurate production

• Maintain a strong focus on safety and continuous improvement

• Flexibility to assist in other departments as required

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization

• Solid math, measurement, and comprehension skills

• Proficient with micrometers, calipers, and other measurement tools

• Ability to read and interpret prints, charts, and graphs

• Mechanical aptitude and good problem-solving abilities

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

• Computer literacy and ability to understand job-specific software

• Team-oriented with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
