What You’ll Do:
Join the Walmart dedicated fleet out of Gordonsville, VA (10417 James Madison Hwy) . This account runs dry and refrigerated grocery freight delivering to Walmart stores across VA, NC, MD, PA, and WV . Drivers average 1,600–1,700 miles per week , typically running two routes per day on 11–14 hour shifts . Freight is no-touch and live unload , ensuring safety and consistency.
Schedule:
Start times range from noon to midnight with weekends required . Drivers work 5 days on and 2 days off with consistent 48-hour resets and the same two days off each week . This is a slip-seat operation using newer model day cabs , requiring personal transportation to and from the DC daily.
Pay & Bonuses:
Average $1,300/week after 90 days with perfect attendance
Top performers exceed $1,500/week

- 1st Load: $250
- 30 Days: $250
- 60 Days: $250
- 90 Days: $500
- 120 Days: $250
- 150 Days: $250
- 180 Days: $750
Stop Pay: $20 per stop
Minimum mileage pay for short routes
Training Pay: 1 day on-site ($125) + 3–4 ride-alongs ($50 each)
Requirements:
CDL-A with safe driving history
Must have own transportation to and from the DC
Willing to work afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays
Excellent safety record and customer service focus
