Civil Engineer- PE REQUIRED
Civil Engineer (P.E. REQUIRED) - Buffalo, NY (HYBRID) - $100,000 to $120,000/ year
Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer (P.E.) to join our Buffalo, NY office (hybrid: 3 days in office/2 days from home). This role involves designing, managing, and executing civil engineering projects for municipal, state, federal, and private clients. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, project leadership, and collaborative spirit to support our mission of delivering innovative and sustainable infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities - Design and oversee civil engineering projects including, roads, drainage systems, site development, and utilities.
- Prepare engineering plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports.
- Conduct inspections and field investigations to support design and construction phases.
- Collaborate with architects, environmental scientists, and other engineers to deliver integrated solutions.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Support permitting processes and coordinate with regulatory agencies.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to business development efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in NY or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- 5+ years of experience in civil engineering design and project management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, Microsoft Office, and engineering analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of stormwater management, grading, site layout, construction staging, zoning, inspection, drainage, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Anility to work independently and in team settings.
