Position Overview:

We are seeking a Civil Engineer with Structural Engineering Experience to join our team and contribute to our projects by preparing grading and drainage plans as well as structural foundation plans.

This role requires an experienced Civil Engineer with 5+ years of experience who can handle site grading, drainage design, and foundation planning, while also providing basic structural engineering support. The ideal candidate will work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop civil site plans and structural foundation designs that comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and prepare civil grading and drainage plans for commercial and residential projects.
• Develop structural foundation plans, ensuring compliance with building codes and engineering best practices.
• Conduct site evaluations and provide recommendations for site development.
• Perform load calculations for basic structural components.
• Work with project managers, architects, and other engineers to develop efficient site plans.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for civil and structural design.
• Review and approve engineering plans and construction documents.
• Provide technical support during construction and permitting processes.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Arizona. 
• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering, with experience in grading, drainage, and foundation design.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D or other civil engineering design software.
• Experience with structural calculations for foundations and basic structural elements.
• Strong knowledge of Arizona building codes, drainage regulations, and grading requirements.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
