Chief of Staff / Head of Business Operations

San Francisco, California (full time, in-person, with field deployments and travel)

Starting with Cosmic-1 – a system that installs solar panels 10x faster than today’s methods, helping us transition to a clean energy future and laying the groundwork for the future of autonomous construction.

The Role

We’re not worried about titles. What we need are outcomes and someone who gets things done .

This is a high-impact role acting as a force multiplier for the CEO to drive Cosmic’s mission. You will wear many hats: strategist, operator, customer champion, and problem solver. You will shape Cosmic’s trajectory by driving mission-critical initiatives, ensuring flawless execution, and acting as the connective tissue between strategy and action. Over time, we expect you and this role to evolve, what will remain constant is your impact on the future of this company.

What You’ll Do

From day one, you’ll drive critical initiatives and deliver results. Here’s what you’ll own:

• Drive Strategy : Lead high-stakes projects, challenge assumptions, and push initiatives forward.
• Align Priorities : Work with the founders to turn the company’s mission into bold, actionable goals.
• Field Deployments : Oversee Cosmic-1 launches, ensuring they exceed customer expectations.
• Pipeline Expansion : Strengthen relationships and aggressively pursue new opportunities.
• Operational Excellence: Cut through ambiguity, remove roadblocks, and build systems to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in business development, strategy, or operations.
• Success in ambiguous, high-stakes environments.
• Exceptional communication and relationship management skills.
• Experience in financial modeling, strategy consulting, or business operations.
• Familiarity with hardware, construction, energy, or infrastructure.
