About the Role
The Company is seeking a hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its financial operations. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all accounting, financial reporting, and asset/liability management functions, ensuring financial transparency, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. This role requires a strong background in accounting and financial reporting, with a focus on GAAP compliance, internal controls, and oversight. The CFO will also be involved in strategic financial leadership, including annual financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, and will play a key role in the company's growth and success. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA strongly preferred, and at least 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience in a banking or financial institution. Experience in asset/liability and interest rate risk management is essential, as is a proven ability to operate in a regulator-facing role. The ideal candidate will have a background in working with or for a sponsor bank and experience in supporting fintech lending programs. The CFO will also be expected to lead and develop the finance and accounting team, ensuring a high-performance culture and the implementation of scalable processes.
