About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive team. The CFO will be a key leader in the organization, responsible for driving financial strategy, operations, and capital planning during a pivotal period of hypergrowth and expansion. This role demands a professional with a proven track record in strategic financial leadership, particularly within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) or beverage sectors. The successful candidate will play a critical part in the company's mission to disrupt the hydration space and must be prepared to take on the challenges and opportunities that come with a high-growth, VC-backed environment. To excel in this position, the CFO must have extensive experience in the CPG or beverage industry, with a deep understanding of the financial intricacies and market dynamics specific to these sectors. The role requires a visionary leader who can not only manage the financial aspects of the business but also contribute to the overall strategic direction. The ideal candidate will be adept at financial forecasting, risk management, and have a strong background in fundraising and investor relations. A hands-on approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the executive team are essential. A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is typically required, and an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
