Certified Sales Arborist Position

Position Overview

As a Certified Sales Arborist, you'll manage your own book of business, providing expert guidance to clients on tree and plant health care while collaborating closely with our operations team to ensure high-quality service delivery. It is a mid-level role for someone with a strong foundation in arboriculture. Working in a small business environment means no rigid scripts—just real training, real support, and real opportunities to grow into a consultative sales professional who helps clients care for their trees the right way

The Major Roles

• Client Consultation & Tree + Plant Care Support
  • Conduct with property, tree and plant health assessments
  • Support the preparation of accurate estimates
  • Build trust with clients through professionalism and responsiveness
  • Help manage the customer experience from initial contact to job completion
  • Ensure a smooth handoff to the operations team
• Sales & Business Development
  • Learn and apply the RTEC Sales Process
  • Support lead follow-up and referral tracking
  • Contribute to achieving team sales goals through ethical, consultative support
  • Identify opportunities to cross-promote services under guidance
• Technical Learning & Growth
  • Maintain ISA Certification
  • Participate in company-provided technical and sales training (e.g., Sandler)
  • Stay up to date with industry practices and safety standards
  • Accurately log all client activity in the CRM
• Team Collaboration & Project Execution
  • Coordinate with Operations to support project delivery
  • Assist in managing the Service Delivery Process
  • Help communicate job details and client expectations to production teams
  • Join post-job reviews to learn from outcomes and improve future performance
  • Foster strong working relationships across departments
  • Seek mentorship and contribute positively to the team

What We’re Looking For

• ISA Arborist Certification
• Strong communication, customer service, and ethical sales skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Outdoor comfort, teamwork mindset, and a desire to learn

Compensation & Benefits

• Training Period Pay: Guaranteed base draw (first 3 months)
• Commission: 100% commission structure with monthly draw after 3 months
• Earnings: First-year $55,000–$65,000
