We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with at least one year of experience to join our busy Allergy and Immunology clinic. This role involves direct patient care, assisting with diagnostic testing, administrating treatments such as allergy injections and performing allergy skin testing.

The CMA plays a critical role in our practice, known for its strong teamwork, supportive culture, and excellent patient care. We are a close-knit, dependable group that takes pride in working efficiently together and supporting one another throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Duties

• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints
• Perform allergy testing (e.g., skin prick testing, intradermal testing, spirometry, peak flow testing)
• Prepare and administer allergy immunotherapy injections
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions following injections or testing
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR

Administrative Duties

• Manage phone calls, patient messages, and prescription refill requests
• Assist with prior authorizations and insurance documentation related to allergy treatments
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure proper storage of medications/extracts

• Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
• Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
