The Department of ePMO - Performance Excellence is currently seeking a full time Business Process & Operations Analyst to work in Coral Gables, FL. The Business Process & Operations Analyst provides planning, project management, data analytics and operational support for system wide operational initiatives. Key responsibilities of this role include data analytics, creation of materials/content for executive leadership and overall communications support. This job assists in the development and evaluation of strategic and operational plans and evaluates programs for conformance to the overall goals and objectives of the organization.

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS

Develops process documentation and project plans. Creates flowcharts, process maps, and diagrams. Develops a good understanding of the business's model, objectives, issues, and challenges by interacting and collaborating with users and stakeholders. Assesses and documents business requirements, makes priority recommendations, and advises on business options, risks, and costs. Researches, analyzes, and recommends changes to business processes to improve operational efficiencies, quality, service, and profitability. Supports cross-functional activities and working sessions during projects’ design and implementation phases. Designs and prepares documentation, training materials, and communications supporting new processes. Facilitates or assists with the delivery of training to impacted business units. Produces reports and visualizations that provide easy to understand information required for decision making. Collects and studies operational and performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Supports processes to provide data-driven insights related to business performance used to advise and develop strategies for operational improvements and future business initiatives. Analyzes internal and external data using KPIs, business results, industry sources, competitor intelligence, and customer information. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets. CORE QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Learning Agility: Ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and protocols, and adapt to changing priorities and work demands. Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a team environment. Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using office software, technology, and relevant computer applications. Communication: Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills for interacting with colleagues and stakeholders.
