Job Overview

This role is responsible for customer relationship building and revenue generation from companies using large language models (LLMs) to power their products and services. This individual will identify potential early adopters—companies leveraging smaller, targeted LLMs for specific use cases—and strategically position MemComputing as the ideal solution for their AI and semiconductor needs.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated history of successfully identifying and building strategic partnerships with companies at the forefront of AI innovation, including cloud service providers and organizations leveraging LLMs. A strong, well-established network within these industries and the ability to identify and engage key decision-makers will be critical to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Revenue Generation: Create, manage, and implement go-to-market strategies to derive revenue from MemComputing products.
  • Strategic Business Development: Understand the market opportunities and establish effective outreach by identifying, engaging, and establishing relationships with companies using LLMs, particularly those building custom solutions like customer support chatbots, search optimization tools, and specialized AI applications.
  • Early Adopter Acquisition: Target smaller and mid-sized companies likely to embrace innovation, enabling rapid adoption of MEMAI technology.
  • Partnership Growth: Develop and nurture relationships with large companies like eBay, Spotify, Expedia, and other SaaS companies using focused LLMs to serve their customer base.
  • Value Proposition: Clearly articulate the benefits of the MEMAI solution, emphasizing efficiency, speed, and cost-effectiveness for training and inference on custom datasets.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Build and manage a robust pipeline of potential customers, ensuring MemComputing is positioned as the go-to provider for AI inference and LLM optimization. Lead the process from prospecting and relationship building to closing deals.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor trends in the LLM and AI markets, identifying emerging companies and industries where MemComputing’s solutions can deliver transformational value.

Qualifications

  • Strategic thinker with 
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or partnerships, particularly with SaaS companies utilizing LLMs.
  • Strong technical acumen including an understanding of LLMs, AI training and inference processes, and the challenges companies face when deploying customized AI models.
  • Established network of contacts within companies utilizing AI and LLM technologies.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical and product teams.
  • Adaptable to a changing business landscape by innovating and proactively thinking.

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, or strategic partnerships.
  • Experience in sales and marketing in fast-growing, startup technology companies preferred, with AI experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully bringing new products to market.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Business Development, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required. An advanced degree (MBA or Master’s in a technical field) is preferred.
  • Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: Based on qualifications, an attractive package of base salary, bonus potential and generous stock options will be negotiated
