Job Summary:
Our client, in Carrollton, TX, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Forklift Driver to support daily logistics and material handling operations. This temp-to-hire opportunity offers a hands-on role within a collaborative warehouse environment where safety, precision, and efficiency are key.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, stack, and transport materials and finished products
Support inventory control by assisting with physical counts and cycle counts
Maintain accurate documentation and material movement records
Ensure all warehouse operations comply with established safety procedures
Assist warehouse team with general duties including staging, organizing, and housekeeping tasks
Required Experience:
1–2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center
Proven history of working in material handling or logistics settings
Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and inventory handling
Nice-to-Have Experience:
Exposure to packaging or manufacturing environments
Previous experience in temp-to-hire warehouse roles
Experience using handheld scanners or WMS systems
Required Skills:
Valid forklift operator certification or license
Strong attention to safety and adherence to protocols
Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials as required
Dependable team player with a positive, solution-focused attitude
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of basic warehouse inventory processes
Ability to work independently and follow direction in a fast-paced environment
Experience with various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks)
