POSITION SUMMARY:
The receptionist is responsible for answering the phones and serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifies company personnel of calls, messages, and visitor arrival.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Responsible for managing all aspects of the receptionist desk.
• Greetings and welcome vendors, guests, and staff as soon as they arrive at the office
• Direct visitors to the proper person and office
• Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
• Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable
• Provide basic and correct information in-person and via phone
• Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
• Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access
• Perform duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing
• Performs other duties as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES :

• Ability to multitask
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must be personable, friendly, and professional

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to carry, lift, push or pull at least 20lbs

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• One year experience as a receptionist Or
• One year's experience in an administrative position
• Computer savvy
