Baler Material Handler HIRING IMMEDIATELY - St. Charles, IL

Shift: 11pm - 7am Monday - Friday and every other Saturday as required

Compensation:

• Pay range $22.29 - $27.88 + $1.50 Shift Premium

Responsibilities

This Position is for Pactiv Evergreen Inc. Job Duties: Duties performed by employees in this position will include, but not be limited to the following:

• Performs daily inspection of forklift truck.
• Uses forklift truck to pick up all printed paperboard waste bins.
• Collects & maintains segregation of paperboard waste (which is brought to Baler by Finishing Material Handler) generated by finishing processes.
• Operates and performs minor maintenance on hogger, automatic waste baler, and banding machine.
• Feeds or rakes waste from waste bins into hogger.
• Manually ties off all bales with wires.
• Weighs & writes weight on tags for each bale.
• Uses forklift to place finished bales into proper storage.
• Performs other related duties to contribute to the success of the operation as assigned by supervision.

St. Charles is a city in DuPage and Kane counties in the state of Illinois. It lies roughly 40 miles west of Chicago on Illinois Route 64. As of the 2010 census the population was 32,974, and as of 2019 the population had decreased to an estimated 32,887.

The plant was built in 1969, manufactures Paper Cartons and Cups, and has approximately 200 employees. It is proud to have received the Environmental Excellence Award for 6 years in a row.
