Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled worker to join our culinary team in Calverton NY. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the food preparation process, ensuring that all ingredients are mixed to perfection for our restaurant and catering services. This position requires a strong understanding of food safety protocols and a passion for culinary excellence.

Duties

• Prepare and mix various ingredients according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food safety and hygiene practices are strictly followed during the mixing process.
• Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation for events and daily service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the mixing area, including proper storage of ingredients.
• Assist in the baking process when required, ensuring quality control throughout.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries about menu items and ingredient preparation.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report any shortages to management.

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation or as a Mixer in a restaurant or catering environment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry is essential.
• Culinary training or certification is a plus, but not mandatory for candidates with relevant experience.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are required.
• A passion for cooking and baking, along with a commitment to delivering high-quality food products, is essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
