Job Description

Allison Audiology & Hearing Aid Center is a premier audiology clinic recognized for delivering high-quality and compassionate care to patients of all ages and creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

They are actively looking for a medical professional passionate about impacting patients' lives and community to join their team as the Audiologist Assistant .

The Audiologist Assistant will perform daily clinical and administrative tasks and duties, improving patient flow and practice efficiency.

The ideal Audiologist Assistant candidate is cheerful, reliable, eager to learn, and passionate about helping hearing loss patients.

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and performing basic maintenance or repairs on hearing aids, including tubing, domes, wax guards, battery doors, microphone covers, and windscreens
  • Counseling patients on proper use and care of their hearing devices\Contacting patients when they are due for service, warranty checks, or annual exams
  • Assisting the audiologist and team with marketing projects and outreach initiatives, including community engagement and identifying potential referral sources
  • Keeping the lab organized, clean, and well-stocked
  • Ordering and managing clinic supplies
  • Greeting patients, answering phones, verifying insurance, and supporting general front office tasks
  • Troubleshooting hearing aid concerns and ensuring smooth patient flow
  • Supporting the team with any other tasks or responsibilities that arise

Requirements

  • Recent graduates from Speech and Hearing Science or Communication Disorders programs are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred (Medical Assistant, Dental Assistant, or similar roles a plus)
  • Must be willing to obtain an Audiology Assistant license (employer will sponsor licensure fees upon completion of the exam)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to learn quickly, multi-task, and collaborate with a supportive team
