Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of personal injury cases, including case assessment, discovery, negotiation, settlement, and trial preparation.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and depositions.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and guidance throughout their cases.
• Collaborate with paralegals, case managers, and litigation support staff to ensure thorough case development.
• Participate in firm-wide strategy sessions for mass tort and product liability cases when needed.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in North Carolina.
• 2+ years of experience in personal injury, premises liability, workers’ compensation, or related litigation.
• Strong courtroom and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently while working in a team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate and client-centered approach to legal representation.
