Come join the Bureau of Architecture and Engineering at the City of Rochester as our Assistant City Engineer! This position, which falls under the Department of Environmental Services, is a management position that will oversee capital projects for over 500 linear miles of City right-of-way and over 190 city buildings and facilities. This position is on-site at City Hall, with limited telework options available.
City Residency is preferred but not required.
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the minimum qualifications listed below:
A. Master's degree in Civil, Structural, and/or Transportation Engineering AND four (4) years of experience managing civil engineering projects, three (3) years of which were in a supervisory capacity;
OR
B. Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, and/or Transportation Engineering AND six (6) years of experience as described in A.
