Job Description

Teledyne Relays (a business unit of Teledyne Defense Electronics, LLC) is a manufacturer of Electromechanical Relays, Solid State Relays, Power Controllers, RF COAX Switches and RF Matrix switching systems. We are hiring an Assembler for a full-time, onsite position in Hawthorne, CA.

Hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PM

Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Follow procedures on SS Relays
  • Maintain a labor book/log, prepares reports
  • Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations
  • Manual and Automatic Testing on Relays
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested, ability to use equipment for a variety of applications

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED), technical training/certification preferred
  • 1-2 years of previous/related experience in assembly
  • Must have good eye-hand coordination to use small hand tools
  • Must have good working knowledge of computers, and good knowledge of basic math
  • Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out written/oral/diagram form instructions and be able to deal with problems with concrete variables
  • Must be able to read and interpret specifications and drawings
  • Must be a US Person- US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees
