Job Title: Assembler
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our team and contribute to the assembly of products used for fluid hydraulic systems. You will utilize small hand and power tools to complete assemblies, read off basic instructions and blueprints, and perform visual inspections of parts. Additionally, you will handle the bagging, packaging, and staging of finished assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products used for fluid hydraulic systems
• Utilize small hand and power tools (Air press, torque tools)
• Read and follow basic instructions and blueprints (computers and hard copies)
• Perform visual inspection of parts
• Bag and package products according to work orders
• Stage finished assemblies

Essential Skills

• Experience with assembly and mechanical tasks
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics
• Familiarity with hydraulics and fluid power
• Ability to use hand tools, air tools, and torque tools
• Mechanical assembly skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• No experience required; strong work ethic and personable nature highly valued
• Experience using power and hand tools
• Assembly experience
• Basic reading and math skills
• Comfortable navigating computers
• Strong documentation skills
• Must be able to stand for the entire shift

Work Environment

This position is for the 1st shift, Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM. Optional overtime is available after shifts or on weekends. The work environment is a quiet, temperature-controlled manufacturing setting with safety glasses provided. The assembly and machine shops are in separate buildings within a newly relocated facility. The dress code requires safety toe shoes/boots that are slip and oil-resistant, with an annual reimbursement of up to $130 with receipt.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Long Lake, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
