Job Summary:
Bump Your Stump is looking for a skilled Arborist with a valid CDL to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be capable of operating a bucket truck, climbing (preferred but not required) , and performing ground work as needed. ISA certification is preferred, or a willingness to obtain it within 3–6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate bucket truck safely for aerial tree pruning and removals
Climb trees using proper safety techniques (if qualified)
Assist with rigging, ground operations, and site cleanup
Identify tree health issues
Maintain and safely operate chainsaws, ropes, and climbing gear
Follow ANSI Z133 and company safety protocols
Communicate effectively with team members and clients
Requirements:
Valid CDL (Class B or higher) – Required , or willing and able to obtain
ISA Certified Arborist – Preferred , or able to become certified within 6 months
Experience with aerial lifts and bucket truck operation
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Physical ability to lift, bend, and perform strenuous tasks
Willingness to work on the ground when not climbing or in the bucket
Must pass DOT drug screening and background check
