Standard TV and Appliance, the largest locally owned appliance retailer, is actively searching for an INSTALLER I to complete in-home appliance installations for Standard TV and Appliance customers!
Candidate must be organized, motivated and offer great customer service!
We offer COMMISSION-BASED SALARY. Must be comfortable working a varied schedule (days, evenings, Saturdays).

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Review installation service calls and schedule time windows while meeting customer and business requests. Productivity is measured by reschedules, customer complaints and dispatch/management involvement.
- Responsible for calling customers to provide an installation time window and verify the following: specific appliance installation, address where installation is to occur, method of payment on customer calls.
- Maintain installation vehicle inventory and follow installer check-in process to account for all issued parts each morning.
- Provide customer with detailed installation estimates on sales order for salesperson collection.
- Use friendly and professional communication skills when working with all internal service employees and customers. Resolve all customer concerns before leaving the home.
- Maintain install vehicle condition for cleanliness, orderliness and follow all maintenance schedules. Complete service van inspection sheets weekly.
- Accountable for the condition, maintenance and loss or damage of all company issued tools, equipment and vehicles issued.
- Must provide own hand tools for installation of appliances. Specialty tools and equipment will be issued by JBC Limited LLC.
- Expected to perform at a meets expectation level in the following categories on a monthly basis: completed installation calls, productivity, total labor collected, extended service policy sales, add-on parts sales, customer satisfaction refunds, hours worked and property damage.
- Expected to accurately record model/serial numbers on every install order and document correct part numbers for orders; follow all requests and requirements for placing technical assistance calls to manufacture tech lines.
- Responsible for properly installing product(s) to all assigned customers unless approved by the Install Supervisor manager on a daily basis.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned by the manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience installing appliances or previous training at Standard TV and Appliance.
- Customer oriented, committing to their total satisfaction.
- Ability to interact positively with co-workers; assist other departments as needed. Ability to problem solve and resolve issues while working under pressure, following through on pending tasks as needed.
- Ability to work independently, follow company policies and procedures without direct supervision.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable by Standard.
- Willing to positively accept change and quickly respond to new business and job directions, including jobs added to the tech's workload the same day.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Excellent telephone etiquette.
- Fluency in English (written & verbal).
- Basic computer skills and experience.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays and overtime as needed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Sales experience.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
