Educator Preparation Programs (EPP) Department is currently looking to hire several individuals who have experience as a faculty member in a higher education setting. Applicants with Multiple Subject and Special Education credentials, including SLP, and teaching experience highly desired. Requirements / Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A Master's degree in the discipline or A Bachelor's degree AND Six (6) years of exemplary adjunct faculty experience Applicants with Education Specialist Instruction Credentials are highly desired. Selected applicants will be contacted for an interview. Courses are scheduled for evenings and Saturdays, conducted virtually via Zoom, with asynchronous and synchronous instruction. Please specify the credentialing program in your application. If qualified for multiple programs, indicate so and provide reasons for your suitability. Available Credentialing Programs Multiple Subject Special Education: Mild to Moderate Support Needs (MMSN) Extensive Support Needs (ESN) Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Dual Credential (MMSN/Multiple Subject) PK-3 Single Subject Science Single Subject Math Position Purpose EPP seeks part-time instructors for existing and developing credentialing programs. Duties and Responsibilities Deliver courses with clear communication of subject matter. Adapt teaching for diverse learning styles and needs. Employ Adult Learning Theory best practices. Manage online teaching using a Learning Management System (LMS). Engage in ongoing professional development. Work sensitively with diverse students and staff. Participate in course development, assessment, and review. Attend faculty meetings and meet record-keeping obligations. Maintain current syllabi and foster a professional environment.
