Job Details Scope of Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees on a weekly basis (salaried and hourly workforce) utilizing Paylocity
- Create and enhance payroll processing procedures to improve workflow and efficiency
- Maintain employee payroll records and ensure confidentiality
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll
- Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
- Analyze and reconcile any payroll related issues to ensure accuracy
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports as needed
- Review and reconcile monthly invoices from carriers and approve for payment
- Fund 401(k) and Health Savings Accounts.
- Assist with contractor billing to ensure timely billing and collections
- Understand financial systems and processes (Sage 300, Paylocity, Timberline) to ensure accuracy, efficiency and compliance
- Able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of A/P, A/R, Billing, General Ledger, reporting, audits and analysis of financial statements.
- Prepare and present regular financial reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
- 3+ years of experience in a financial role within a manufacturing/construction environment that includes payroll processing.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is required.
- Paylocity experience is a plus.
