Forklift Operator & Pallet Sorter (1st and 2nd Shift)

Purpose of the Role
Join our fast-paced operations team where precision, safety, and performance drive success. As a Forklift Operator & Pallet Sorter, you’ll be responsible for safely operating material handling equipment and hand-sorting pallets based on manufacturer, quality, and grade. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will help us meet production goals and maintain high standards.

Key Responsibilities

🚧 Safety & Compliance

Operate forklifts and other equipment in strict accordance with safety protocols.
Follow all company safety behaviors, processes, and procedures without exception.

📦 Pallet Sorting & Inspection

Hand-sort pallets quickly and accurately based on manufacturer, quality, and grade.
Visually inspect pallets and identify repair needs using established criteria.
Ensure sorted pallets meet quality standards before moving to the next stage.

🚜 Forklift Operation

Safely operate forklifts to transport, load, and unload pallets and materials.
Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Assist with inventory movement and warehouse organization as needed.

📈 Production & Performance

Meet and sustain daily production and quality targets.
Work efficiently in a production-driven environment with minimal supervision.
Take on additional duties as assigned by site leadership.

Collaborate effectively in a diverse team environment.
Uphold company mission and values in all interactions and tasks.

General Requirements

Ability to lift up to 70 lbs consistently throughout the shift.
Comfortable with repetitive motions including bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting.
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Forklift certification preferred
